Brr, Thanks!! Results are In & Photos Now Up!

November 28, 2013

Thank you to all our amazing runners, fans, and volunteers who made this the biggest Stow Gobbler ever! We had close to a thousand participants who braved fierce winds to come raise $$ for a great cause and share some holiday cheer with family, friends and neighbors. You make it such a terrific community event!

Results are now UP at Congrats to our top overall male and female winners: Jarrod Shoemaker and Alicia Kaye! Both set new course records at 15:59:24 for men and 18:22:15 for women! Click here for the complete list of category award winners. We will be contacting the age category winners to get your medals/trophies to you.

Update: Photos are now posted here in a Google+ album free to download, and if you took pics you’d like to share, feel free to email them to or tweet them to @stowgobbler.

Thanks, stay warm and have a great Thanksgiving holiday!

2013 Participant Check-in Information

November 26, 2013

We look forward to seeing you at the Stow Gobbler 5k this Thursday!

Pre-registered runners: There are two opportunities for you to check in for the race and pick up your bib number/T shirt.

Early Check-In Wednesday Nov 27, 2-4 pm at the Stow Community Park shed, 50 Old Bolton Road in Stow MA

Race Morning Thursday Nov 28, starting at 6 am at the Stow Community Park pavilion, 50 Old Bolton Road (parking available at Bose on Great Road)

Also: Online registration has now closed, but if you know people who would like to run/walk but have not yet signed up, we will be accepting in-person registrations at Early Check-In and on Race Morning (PDF form here). So if you have houseguests or friends who want to jump in last minute for a great cause, we welcome them too!

Course News: New this year! We will again feature chip timing as in past years, but this year for the first time your start time will be as you cross the starting line (rather than when the gun goes off), so that should make for less crowding at the start and more accurate individual race times.

See you soon!
